Principal's Welcome

Dear Families,

Thank you deeply for your interest in our school. St. Mary of the Assumption School is a diverse and global community dedicated to guiding our students to live a life guided by virtue. Founded in 1899, St. Mary’s has been dedicated to spiritually, intellectually, and morally forming our students. The distinct mission of Catholic education, to love one another as unique expressions of God’s love, is alive in the halls of our school. I am exceptionally proud of the loving and respectful relationships that embody the true culture of our school.

Our teachers are committed to the growth and development of every student in our care. They are deeply committed to engaging in the best pedagogical practices and providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for all  students. Teachers engage with parents as partners. Providing frequent and clear communication at home, our faculty support families and assist their students’ growth in every aspect of their lives.

Most importantly, our school would not be what it is without the community that we intentionally create throughout the year. Celebrations such as our Trunk or Treat, Tree Lighting, and International Night create a joyful environment where “kids can be kids!” We come together for prayer services and all school Mass where we are able to give thanks and pray as a community. Our family atmosphere is central to our school’s culture and identity.

I strongly encourage you to visit our school and learn how we can serve your family. I am incredibly proud of the students, teachers, staff and parents at St. Mary’s and would love to give you the opportunity to experience it first hand.

God Bless You,

Dr. Christine Nadjarian
